New Nursing Home – Replacement Facility

Construction of this new 122,300 square foot nursing home located on the West Side of Madison consists of 184 beds and is constructed on a nine and half acre site.

The residentially scaled design focuses on meeting the highly specialized needs for skilled care residents.  Eight Neighborhoods, with 23 beds, are constructed over two floor levels.  Each neighborhood is split into two households.  The households each have a shared living room, dining room, kitchen and activity center. All resident rooms are private with private toilets.  A state of the art wireless call system is included for the security of the residents and staff efficiency.  The project also includes a center hub with administrative offices, new multi-purpose chapel, and support services including a central laundry.
