In 2007 Schroeder and Holt was commissioned by an upstart engineering firm to develop their office space.  As a firm with anticipated growth they wanted a space that was flexible enough to accommodate their immediate needs but provided room for expansion.  As a multi-disciplined engineering firm (structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing) they required space for their individual departments while allowing for open communication between their teams.

We developed a solution with them to create an open office concept that utilizes department work zones separated by a plan reference area.  The department principals have semi-open offices that allow flexibility for team meetings or individual conversations.  In addition we provided a reception-administration area, conference room, meeting area, break room and storage space.

We worked closely with the Matrix Group to incorporate the latest innovations in lighting and HVAC systems to provide an efficient, sustainable, user friendly office environment.
