Marcus' Gurnee Mills Cinema has gone through a number of updates over the last few years.  Recently, the lobby was renovated to have a new box office and self-serve ticket kiosks.  A Take Five Lounge was also added, providing customers with a space to grab dinner, appetizers, and drinks before or after a movie.  The renovation also included a new concessions area and Zaffiro's pizzeria.  The renovations also continued down the corridors with new finishes and lighting.  The building's exterior was refreshed with a new paint scheme, signage, lighting, planters, paving, and landscaping.
