Point Cinema has undergone a number of updates throughout the years to stay current with market trends.  Recently, one auditorium was removed to create space for a Take Five Lounge, a new retro cocktail experience.  The new lounge area provides an upscale gathering space articulated with art deco accents.  Additional features include: classic movies played on large projection screens, large black and white artwork of classic movie scenes, and an illuminated onyx bar.  After the success of this concept, Marcus Theaters is incorporating similar lounges at other theaters.
